Job Of The Month Jun 2004

This month’s featured Job of the Month June 2004 was located in Belmore, an inner city Sydney suburb, which has mainly older style homes, but it’s proximity to the city has meant that unit blocks are more prevalent in 2004.

Mr Scaffold was engaged to build scaffolding for the purposes of re-guttering the building. Some mistakes in construction just a few years earlier, meant the perimeter of the building was required to be covered so that new guttering could be installed.

Kwikscaf, Mr Scaffold’s new aluminium scaffolds system was used, as it is quick, light and therefore relatively cheap in comparison with other work platform options to use.

This was stage 1 of the job and approximately 25m in length, and consisted of 7 bays of 3.2m each. The top height from the lowest point was 12m, and as you can see, we used 6 full levels to provide access for the tradesman.

This 240 square metre job was smashed up by 4 boys in a day, and demonstrates what an awesome and quick system Kwikscaf is to use.

Mr Scaffold uses the Medium Duty, 450kg per bay, rated alloy scaffolds system, because it allows us the flexibility to do jobs that others simply can’t, and the capability of finishing jobs quickly and with a minimum of fuss and stoppage.
