Project of the Month April 2012
Mr Scaffold’s project of the Month April 2012 was for this apartment block on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, that has commercial premises operating below.
It is a busy area, and the owner’s wanted to ensure that scaffolding works didn’t affect pedestrian flow of traffic.
Our lightweight and versatile KwikScaf made this job a breeze. Expensive and intimidating hoarding structures were not required – as we were able to design a solution with our engineer to spread the load to the walls and roof of the building.
Workers were able to gain access the scaffold via the awning of the building (so common in Sydney’s inner city, eastern and northern suburbs), and the street level was kept completely unimpeded by our equipment.
Mr. Scaffold worked with the builder, owners to ensure work was completed quick and safely. We engaged traffic control to ensure that the public was safe at all times, and our KwikScaf system ensured works were completed very quickly (less than 2 days for erection).
